US blogger: "We don’t have an opposition, we have rascals"

US blogger Edwin Jamora, otherwise known as Reyna Elena by his fans and supporters, recently shared his thoughts towards the issues that surround the country.

In Jamora’s comment, he said that in the fight between the supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte and the members and supporters of the Liberal Party, there is no “opposition”, he claims. He says that this opposition are ‘rascals’.

What we have are rascals! They're mean! evil! rogue! monsters! traitors! fakers! hoarders, drug lord sympathizers, destabilizers! Illiterate mathematicians! Cowards hiding between the walls in the Senate! They're not really helping the masses or our country!” Jamora says.

He further claims that the opposition is not bringing anything positive into the country. On the contrary, he says that their only goal is to bring down the president whom he says is “legitimately elected.”

More than that, Jamora says that the type of opposition that he would have wanted is the same with that in the Canadian parliamentary. He says that these people are the type who “juice each other’s brains out on a project or on a law”.

He adds insult to the people who are deemed to be the opposition in the Philippines, saying that those who bring placards, or burn effigies or paint public walls are not those who benefit the country.

He says that if the opposition is the same with that of Canada, Jamora says that people like Risa, Bam, Manny, Nancy, among other would not exist.

"IN TRUTH, WE DON'T HAVE AN OPPOSITION

Yes, we don't have an opposition. What we have are rascals! They're mean! evil! rogue! monsters! traitors! fakers! hoarders, drug lord sympathizers, destabilizers! Illiterate mathematicians! Cowards hiding between the walls in the Senate! They're not really helping the masses or our country!

To have an opposition whose goal is to simply bring down a legitimately elected President is not opposition! They're all a bunch of retarded monkeys wanting to run the country!

The genuine opposition I had in mind is the kind I see at the Parliament in Canada where they juice each others brains out on a project or on a law that's about to be enacted. That's the type of opposition I want to see for our country.

Not the placards with zero wit and meaningless lines! Not the effigy burning jack asses! Or creatures painting public walls kundi tagisan nang mga talino for the benefit of our country! This type of opposition brings out the best in everybody in that hall! That's when politics mature.

We won't see the likes of Risa, Bam, Manny, Nancy and the rest because they won't survive in the Question and Answer hour!

That's Federal Parliamentary, folks!

Tse!"

How much has Skyway Stage 3 progressed in the last two months?

Remember the Skyway Stage 3 update we posted a while back? The video we featured was courtesy of YouTuber  dmitrivalencia , which gave us a good drone’s eye view of the different sections of the Skyway project. Just yesterday, he uploaded another update yet again—you can view the embedded video above. You can tell from the June 2019 update that not all sections show significant changes. But still, a lot of progress can be seen along some of the major roads such as Osmeña Highway and Araneta Avenue. We took before and after snippets of the areas showing the most significant changes so we can all have a better look.

Paolo Duterte rejects Trillanes’ offer of settlement

Photo from abogado.com.ph Former Davao City vice mayor Paolo Duterte and his brother-in-law Manases Carpio turned down opposition Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV’s offer of settlement in the libel case the presidential son filed against the lawmaker. Lawyer Rainer Madrid disclosed that Duterte and Carpio rejected the settlement, details of which remained undisclosed as of this writing, during mediation hearing. They (Duterte and Carpio) wanted to go on trial, Madrid said. The case stemmed from Trillanes’ accusation linking Duterte and Carpio to corruption and extortion involving Uber and other companies regulated by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, Road Board and Department of Public Works and Highways.
